  • Description:

  • The MMA7455 accelerometer can measure acceleration in three axes. This sensor is commonly available as a breakout board that you can connect to your Arduino. It requires VCC, GND, SCA and SCL to be connected.
    Features:
    • IIC / SPI and interfaces
    • Z-axis self-calibration
    • 2.4 V - 3.6 V operation (onboard regulator; module operates from 5 V).
    • Programmable threshold interrupts output.
    • Level detection for motion recognition (shock, shock & move, free fall).
    • Pulse detection for single pulse or double pulse recognition.
    • Sensitivity: 64 LSB/g @ 2 g, @ 8 g in 10-bit mode
    • Selectable sensitivity (± 2 g, ± 4 g, ± 8 g) for 8-bit mode
